NINA Angel is a personal safety service, for anyone who wants to get around with more peace of mind, by day or by night. One button, and the people you chose know where you are.
The system has two parts: a small device you keep with you, with one button; and an app you install on your phone, where you choose your emergency contacts and follow what happens.
There is a SIM inside the device: it connects to the mobile network on its own (GSM) and knows where it is thanks to positioning satellites (GNSS, the family GPS belongs to). When you press the button, the alarm leaves from the device, even if your phone is flat or far from you.
NINA Angel isn't an object you buy and forget in a drawer: it's a service that stays on, by subscription, for anyone who wants a bit more safety when getting around every day.
Where a person is happens to be among the most sensitive data there is. NINA Angel handles it in line with European data protection law (EU Regulation 2016/679): no profiling, no data passed on to third parties. Your location is seen only by the people you chose, and by whoever you decide to involve.
